Obviously with this many runners the park is going to be busy. All runners will be briefed and should be thoughtful of other park users, but it might be worth avoiding the park at this time if you are dog walking. After this week the numbers should go down to a more manageable number.. Read More »

The work is likely to take 2-3 days so could people please be aware and keep dogs on the lead.

All cat owners please take care as two family pets were killed and mutilated and left in a bin liner in Duston at the weekend. This follows on from two other cats which were mutilated and killed a month ago.
The possibility has been raised that these attacks are linked and maybe related to cat attacks which have happened in Croydon, London.
There is a special report in the Chronicle & Echo

Unfortunately over the weekend the banner promoting Pineham Barns School has been removed and presumable destroyed. It was attached to the railing by the traffic lights where Banbury Lane meets Upton Valley Way East.
If anyone has any information about this can they please contact either the School directly or the Parish Council
