Cllr Stuart Hemming
Hailing originally from Walsall in the West Midlands, I have lived in Hunsbury Meadows with Tracey, my Fiancée, since 2004 and enjoy being and active member of our community.
I have three children, and have familiarity with our neighbouring parish through my daughter, who attends Rothersthorpe CofE Primary School and is a member of Rothersthorpe 1st Brownies.
Professionally, I have been in the print industry for over 30 years (having started my first print company back in 1987) and amongst my current business interests I am the Managing Director of a print management company, with offices in Northampton and Walsall. Not only do I thrive on developing my business in line with my customers ever-demanding schedules and new media, I also get to assist a lot of exciting local businesses and meet a lot of interesting people through my work.
I'm an avid footy fan, spending my spare time helping with my son's football team and braving the cold to be a dedicated Walsall FC fan and season ticket holder. I spend a lot of time up and down the motorways following them home and away, rain or shine…. win or lose!
I also have a passion for cars and motorsport, and can be regularly found on a weekend spending ridiculous amounts of time keeping my cars meticulously clean.
As a family, we really love the area and make the most of the lovely countryside we have on our doorstep in walks around our canal paths and parks. I can even be a bit of a fair-weather runner when I have the motivation – blink and you may miss me!
I have been a Councillor on the Parish Council since 2014 and I am really proud of the work we do. I personally take a lot of pleasure from the fact Hunsbury Meadows is such a beautiful, clean and safe place for our children to grow up in.
