Keep dancing at the Guildhall’s annual Tea Dance
Dance enthusiasts from across Northampton are being invited to come together at the Guildhall on Saturday, 26 May for a special afternoon Tea Dance.
Organised each year by Northampton Borough Council's Pensioner's Forum, the Tea Dance will take place in the Great Hall between 2pm and 4pm, in aid of the Mayor of Northampton's charity.

County & Borough Councillor Surgery - Saturday 21st April

A tale of Shakespeare comes to Abington Park
An unusual, 90 minute one-man show will come to Abington Park Museum next weekend as part of a wider programme of events at Abington Park.
Into the Breach, written and performed by seasoned actor Mark Carey, will be staged at the museum on Saturday, 14 April at 7.30pm, with Carey playing all 17 parts.

Your recycling should be presented for the next scheduled collection. You can present extra recycling if needed in carrier bags/clear sacks (one type of recycling per bag) and we will take it all for you.

Night shelter celebrates first anniversary
It is now 12 months since the nightshelter opened in Northampton.
During its first year, the nightshelter was used every night and provided emergency shelter for more 160 men who had been sleeping rough or were at imminent risk of having to sleep rough in Northampton. By working with local housing providers, it has helped 100 of these men to move on successfully into settled accommodation.

Northampton Nightshelter volunteer recruitment
Northampton's emergency night shelter, The Link, In Northampton are currently recruiting for volunteers to assist in the running of the shelter and to help support the guests who use their services

The atmospheric 15th century Abington Park Museum will play host to Burns Night celebrations this Friday, 26 January, from 7-10pm, with bagpipes, poetry, canapés and dancing, accompanied by a top live ceilidh band.
